Lifeline customers are required to verify their eligibility every year in order to continue to receive the Lifeline benefit. You will receive your initial Lifeline recertification notice by mail from NewPhone Wireless. The letter will provide you the different methods you can use to recertify. You will also receive reminders by mail, text message, and email from NewPhone Wireless.
If you do not recertify your Lifeline eligibility, your FREE NewPhone Wireless cell phone service will be disconnected.

Lifeline customers also have the option of recertifying by mail. Please note that the process for recertifying by mail is much slower than recertifying online or by phone and will not provide you or NewPhone with immediate notification of your continued eligibility. As a result, you may continue to receive recertification reminders until your recertification window ends.

Online recertification is the fastest and easiest way to recertify. Click "Annual Recertification" at the top of your screen. Select "Recertifiy Online" and login to your account to recertify. Or you can recertify by phone by calling 1-(855)-204-3667 and follow the prompts.
Once you have completed the process, NewPhone Wireless will notify you if you are continued eligible for Lifeline service. We will notify you of our decision by text message.
