WHO IS NEWPHONE WIRELESS?

NewPhone Wireless is one of the nation’s leading providers of EBB & Lifeline wireless services to those in need. NewPhone's subscribers will receive a FREE 4G/5G LTE smartphone along with FREE monthly cell phone service to help them stay connected with family, school services, doctors, and employers. Cell phone service includes nationwide coverage on one of America’s most reliable networks. Our customers enjoy their free phone and free service at absolutely no cost to them.

NewPhone Wireless is a Lifeline program, serving eligible households in the state of Louisiana. To participate in the NewPhone Wireless service, certain eligibility requirements must be met, which are set by each State where the service is provided. These requirements are based on a person’s participation in State or Federal Support Programs, or by meeting the Income Poverty Guidelines as defined by the U.S. Government. NewPhone Wireless service is limited to one person per household.

We believe that a cell phone ownership is not only a right, but an important tool for an individuals success in today's world. Everyone should have a cell phone and the ability to know what their cell phone service will cost, without paying more than they want or can afford.

WHAT IS LIFELINE?

Lifeline Program is a federal government program supported by the Universal Service Fund. While the service is subsidized by the government, the cell phones are provided by NewPhone Wireless. Enrollment is available to individuals who qualify based on federal or state-specific eligibility criteria. The goal of the Lifeline program is to ensure that qualifying low-income households have access to basic telecommunication services. We believe in offering quality, hassle-free service in order to keep everyone connected without the need for a contract or credit check.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE?

The Lifeline Program offers one wireless account per household. Separate households that live at the same address are eligible, including residents of nursing homes. Residents with temporary addresses are also eligible. You may qualify if you participate in certain public assistance programs, such as Medicaid or the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP). You may also qualify based on your household income. In order to become a NewPhone Wireless subscriber, you must provide proof of program participation or proof of income. Currently, the offer is limited to eligible customers residing in the State of Louisiana.
